Which areas does Cleanology cover?
Cleanology currently provides cleaning & housekeeping services across Cheltenham and the Cotswolds.
Travel is included free of charge within a 20 mile radius of our GL52 postcode. After this, it will be charged at a rate of 45p/mile.
How much do our services cost?
We deliver personalised, bespoke housekeeping services to provide the very best for our customers. We are fully insured, and all staff are DBS checked.
Hourly Domestic Cleaning Rate £25.00 per hour inclusive of VAT.
Includes the use of our products and equipment.
Please note:
Commercial properties, end of tenancy, and deep cleans are quoted separately and have different hourly rates.

In the consultation, we will take a look around your home or office, discuss your requirements, and agree on how many hours will need to be allocated.
A suitable start date will then be discussed, and a weekly or fortnightly slot will be allocated.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
We understand that plans can change. However, as we allocate specific staff and time for every booking, we kindly ask for sufficient notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cleaning is infinite. Time is not.

Exceptional Circumstances -
We appreciate that genuine emergencies happen. If something unexpected arises, please contact us as soon as possible and we will always aim to be fair and reasonable
When are payments due and what forms of payment do you accept?
We currently accept bank transfer only.
Full payment must be received on the day of your final scheduled clean to secure your upcoming cleans. Once payment is received, your future bookings are confirmed and reserved in our diary.
If payment is not received on the due date, this will be taken as confirmation that you no longer require your next set of cleans, and those appointments may be released to clients on our waiting list.
As a small, service-led business this process allows us to plan staffing effectively, maintain consistency for our clients, and provide our team with the reliable hours they depend on. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
Do I need to purchase any products?
No. We provide all standard cleaning products and equipment. If specific or specialist products are required for certain surfaces (including furniture, kitchen or bathroom surfaces, worktops, marble, granite, natural stone, or specialist floor finishes), this must be advised in advance. Any such products must be supplied by the client, made available for the cleaning team, and clear instructions for use provided.
Do I need to be present?
The only time you will need to be present is at the consultation visit. After that, as long as a key contract has been signed, and a key provided, then you are not required to be at home.
Do clients need tidy first?
There’s no need to tidy before we arrive, however to ensure the best use of your cleaner’s time, we kindly ask that items are picked up from the floor and sides are cleared of any clutter. This allows clear access to work surfaces, bathrooms, kitchens and bedrooms so the focus can remain on cleaning.
Is Cleanology insured & what records are kept by Cleanology?
We hold Public and Products Liability Indemnity Insurance up to the value of £5,000,000 with Royal Sun Alliance. We operate in line with the Information Commissioning Office and act with strict Confidentiality and Privacy at all times. Any details kept are purely for our records to allow us to carry out our job efficiently. This information will never be shared with outside parties. A copy of our Privacy Policy is available upon request and can sign Non-Disclosure Agreements as required.
